John Boswell is a survivor of the outbreak in GWR's What Remains. He was a member of Seth Denton's group. After being rescued by Maxine Rutherfords and several others from life on the road, John and his companions are brought to Outpost 2-15.

Post-Apocalypse[]
Monroe County, New York[]
At some point after the apocalypse, John met girlfriends Patricia and Dina, Seth, Hector, Mansukh, and Russell among other survivors. The group survived for an indeterminant amount of time, eventually becoming closer.
Season 1[]
"The Third Door"[]
John is one of the remaining survivors in Seth's group held out in an old barn. He and Patricia encounter Kaari'nai, Gerald Bechet, and a few minutes later Maxine Rutherford and members of The Coalition. They allow them into the barn and show them to Seth while he and Patricia resume taking watch.
After Max and her group return, John is among those who receive the news of Dina's death, he consoles Patricia in the background. A few moments later, members of the Trenholm Clans lay siege to the barn. John and Patricia aid The Coalition in fending off the attackers. He and the rest of his group are able to survive the conflict.
A while later, as members of the CPF assess their people for injuries, he comments that Greg Foster "isn't right" due to his impatience. He listens to Seth's instructions after his group is granted residency with Max's group. Later, at Outpost 2-15, John and the rest of his group are seen coming through the gates and setting up their new camp within the walls.
