Raymond McCormick, otherwise known as Ray, is a recurring character and survivor of the outbreak in GWR's What Remains. He was the news announcer and DJ, of WXXI, before being revealed to be an agent of the Office of Strategic Intelligence.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Providence, Rhode Island[]
Prior to the outbreak, Raymond was a News Anchor for the Providence based television WPRI. It is unknown what circumstances brought him to Upstate New York. It is known, however, that he survived a siege on WPRI's studio while escaping via helicopter with THREE other employees, one of which was Sarah Hanning, Raymond's assistant and the sound operator for WXXI.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Raymond took over an abandoned radio station, WXXI, outside the ruins of Rochester, New York, and reopened the station. According to himself when conversing with both Crystal Chen and Terry Winters, the is funded by "The Coalition Center for the Arts and Cultural Redevelopment."
