Tara's Father is a character mentioned in GWR's What Remains. He was a resident of Brighton alongside his daughter Tara. He worked as a community advisor for the organization, picking and choosing viable communities for integration into the Brighton Network.

"The Long Dark"[]
While in the RFO, Tara is pressed on her origins. She reveals her father previously worked closely to the Brighton Overseer in regards to community selection and advisory. She claims to not know why Brighton shifted to such a militaristic viewpoint, and says the only reason she was able to escape her facility is because of her father. His fate is left unknown.
In a vision induced by Eva, Terry witnesses one of Cara Adam's memories: her diagnosis of spore-lung. In the memory, she overhears a scientist wearing the Defense Intelligence Agency's insignia mention Tara's father when giving Cara her options post-infection.
